Tung Chung Line Extension Celebrates the Year of the Dragon with the Community
The Tung Chung Line Extension team celebrated the Lunar New Year with community partners. Led by Ms Joyce Wong, Chairlady of the Tung Chung Rural Committee, the project team visited Ma Wan Chung Village to distribute lucky bags filled with various festive foods to the villagers. On the same day, the Islands District Care Team also helped to distribute lucky bags to other villages in Tung Chung Heung, showing their care for everyone in the community. The project team also supported a calligraphy event in Mun Tung Estate, organised by the Tung Chung Living Network. During the event, calligraphers crafted auspicious phrases on Fai Chun, which were then given as gifts as well as blessings to the neighbours.
